In today's business world, success depends increasingly on the individual's willingness to continue acquiring new skills. Lifelong learning has effectively become a 'must'. Accordingly, there is an increasing demand for executive education programs.
In order to assess this demand, particularly at the executive level, the Business School of the University of Mannheim is conducting an exclusive survey. The survey takes approximately 10 minutes and we would like to thank you in advance for taking the time to fill out our questionnaire.
The questionnaire is available in both English and German and we will ask about your preferences and the elements you would like to see in a program. Your experience will help us to improve our program portfolio.
Thank you in advance for your time and support!

The high quality of its faculty is one of the success factors of Mannheim Business School. Professor Dr. Lars P. Feld provides further evidence for this fact: as recently announced, the 44-year-old researcher is designated member of the German Council of Economic Experts and has been teaching classes of the Mannheim Master of Accounting & Taxation on a regular basis right from the program start in 2008.
"We congratulate our colleague to the upcoming appointment into this highly-qualified committee. He is an outstanding researcher in the area of public economics and we are proud that he passes his knowledge on to our students", emphasize the two Academic Directors of the Mannheim Master of Accounting & Taxation, Professor Dr. Christoph Spengel and Professor Dr. Jens Wüstemann, who is also President of Mannheim Business School. The Mannheim Master of Accounting & Taxation has been developed together with the largest international accounting firms, the so-called "Big Four" (Deloitte, Ernst & Young, KPMG, and PwC). As members of the Steering Committee, these companies supervise and ensure the quality and practical relevance of the program together with representatives of the University of Mannheim. In addition, they sponsor a number of highly-qualified young professionals each year. The Mannheim Master of Accounting & Taxation program leads to the Master of Science (M.Sc.) academic degree and offers a specialization in either Accounting or Taxation.

Third Annual MBS Alumni Homecoming, November 20, 2010 at Mannheim Castle

On November 20, 2010, Mannheim Castle once again opened its doors to host our signature alumni event, the MBS Annual Alumni Homecoming, which by now has become a well-established tradition. To add further value to the event, workshops for Advanced Network members were organized during the day and the established Program Roundtables of the ESSEC & MANNHEIM Executive MBA also took place. The result: a record of 260 alumni, guests, faculty members and staff attended the event.
As keynote speaker of the evening, Prof. Dr. Jens Wüstemann, President of Mannheim Business School, welcomed Dr. Jürgen Hambrecht, Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of BASF SE, whose candid and engaging speech on "Creating Value through Values" was highly topical and sparked a lively question & answer session.
The dinner reception that followed provided plenty of opportunity to reconnect with former classmates and to get to know fellow alumni from other classes and programs. Although the event lasted well past midnight, for many it was only the prelude to further celebration of the Mannheim spirit.
