Funding & Scholarships

At Mannheim Business School, our goal is to ensure that admitted MBA participants will get the financial aid that they need to attend the Mannheim MBA program. As our MBA program requires serious commitment, participants should not plan to be employed during the program. Mannheim Business School offers a number of partial scholarships to outstanding candidates. In addition, there are several organizations providing scholarships for high-calibre students.

MBS Scholarships

Each year, MBS offers a number of partial scholarships. These scholarships are awarded to outstanding candidates. Outstanding in this case stands for several achievements and characteristics, such as an excellent educational and professional background, a high GMAT score, international working experience, foreign language skills or social engagement. Also, your performance throughout our selection process highly contributes to the final scholarship amount.

Please note that the scholarship amount is limited. Due to our rolling admission process, your chance to receive financial aid from MBS increases the earlier you apply.

Scholarship for Students from Developing Countries
Mannheim Business School is committed to bringing outstanding professionals from developing economies to the Mannheim MBA program. These scholarships support excellent candidates from emerging economies who live and work in a developing country.
Scholarship for Women in Business
This scholarship underlines Mannheim Business School's dedication to increase the number of women in executive positions. Women who can prove a track record of outstanding achievements in their professional lives can apply for this scholarship.

In addition to these specific scholarships, each outstanding applicant may apply for scholarships and will be taken into consideration by the Admissions Committee.

Scholarship application forms are available on request and should be sent as short essays to the Admissions Committee. Content of the essay will be a motivation letter of the candidate giving an overview of his/her achievements in business and private life. Our Admissions Manager Ms. Will will provide you with further details.

DAAD

DAAD - the German Academic Exchange Service - offers a variety of scholarships supporting either tuition fee payments or living costs. Please visit www.daad.org for further details. German Embassies and Consulates offer further information on scholarships to those planning to study in Germany.

Hobsons

Hobsons, part of the Daily Mail and General Trust Group, is a global organization providing advice and guidance to international students.

CareerConcept (by Bildungsfonds)

Bildungsfonds offer funding opportunities for living costs, tuition fee, and other study-related expenses during the MBA program. The funds are available for EU and Non-EU citizens under the condition of a successful completion of a multi-stage selection process. The application form is also available in English.
International students are occasionally requested to have a loan guarantee, which will be decided upon receipt of the application documents.

In a second stage, the candidates will go through an online assessment center which will be fully conducted in German. Therefore, at least basic German language skills are highly recommended. Further information can be found under www.bildungsfonds.de.

Engineers may apply for the Festo-Bildungsfonds, www.festo-bildungsfonds.de, run by the same institution and under the same conditions.
