The TOEFL request can be waived if you graduated from an English speaking university in an English speaking country (for example, Canada, the UK, Australia or New Zealand).
Due to visa regulations, applicants from the Republic of India will also have to take either the TOEFL or IELTS in order to obtain a visa permit.
Also the test results to be handed in should not be older than one year.
We strongly encourage international participants to start taking German language courses prior to program start. This will make you even more attractive to German employers and give you a competitive advantage in the German business world. In addition, being able to speak the German language will simplify and enrich your daily life in Mannheim. Language courses are offered by the University of Mannheim in one module. During the MBA-Program MBS also offers German language courses at three different levels to all students on a weekly basis at no extra charge. Furthermore, the Goethe Institut at Mannheim offers a wide range of German language courses and the International Office of the University of Mannheim provides helpful information for foreign students on their website.
